At the end of 2016, Nissan introduced the latest version of its flagship power package. The Nissan GT-R Track Edition offers the standard drive train with some components of the highly elevated "Nismo" variant. With its 3.8-liter Biturbo V6 engine, the Japanese already has a power of 570 hp and torque of 637 Nm. The body of the Track Edition is additionally glued (like the Nismo variant) in order to achieve even more stiffness. Other parts of the Nismo variant can be found in chassis, rims, fenders and rear spoiler. A titanium exhaust system rounds off the series package.
The Track Edition provides perfect starting position for our 770 hp kit. Turbochargers and injectors will get an update. The drive train will be reinforced by Pauter connecting rods and forged pistons. An air flow meter kit and an upgrade at the intake will be integrated, too. To ensure that the power will get to the road without errors, we are going to install a reinforced 7-disc clutch. Likewise, a fresh set of downpipes, as well as larger brake discs on the front axle for an adapted braking force. After these upgrades, the Nissan GT-R Track Edition provides the perfect home for our mc770 software.
