Performance increase Bentley Continental Coupe V8 & W12 (2018/2019)
From now on, we are offering a Stage 1 software performance upgrade for the Bentley Continental Coupe GT V8 and the Continental Coupe GT W12. The recently available Bentley Coupe GT V8 4.0 bi-turbo offers a stock output of 549 hp and 770 Nm of torque. With our Stage 1 software performance increase, the performance of the noble British increases by 61 hp and 110 Nm to a whopping 610 hp and 880 Nm. This increases the Vmax by 2 to around 320 km/h.
The slightly older, big brother Bentley Continental Coupe GT W12 (available since beginning of 2018) starts with a stockpower of 635 hp and 900 Nm of torque from its 12 cylinders. With our Stage 1 software performance upgrade, the power grows by 65 hp and 150 Nm to a staggering 700 hp and 1050 Nm. Also with this model the Vmax is adjusted from 333 to 339 km/h.
The increase of performance for this two models results from the successful optimization of the MG1 control units from Bosch. It is already one of many optimizations of a control unit from this series, and in the next few days even more vehicle models with Bosch MG1 control units will be added.
