Last weekend, the 12th edition of the 24h race in Dubai opened the motorsport season 2017.
For the first time, the Porsche 991 GT3 R from Manthey-Racing with the well-known mcchip-dkr branding, started in the desert state. The experienced driver quartet with Otto Klohs, Jochen Krumbach, Sven Müller and Matteo Cairoli took up the race from sixth place. After an exciting start-up phase, the Manthey Porsche was on first place in the overall ranking. A slight collision with another competitor in the early morning, forced the team to an additional pit stop. Due to the constant fast lap times, the second place overall was the result after the 24 hours. We congratulate on the successful result.
