Porsche Cayman V5 test Misano World Circuit

In order to avoid the wintry weather conditions in Germany, our team traveled to the 1200 km further south Misano World Circuit to complete two days of testing. Unfortunately, the weather forecast also did not promise good prospects for the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. On the first test day, we completed many laps despite temperatures around freezing point. Unfortunately, the track was covered on the second day of testing with a white blanket of snow, so that the test drives came to a sudden end. Nevertheless, we were able to work out a good basic setup for the Cayman 981 on the first day of the test. With Georg Griesemann, Heiko Hammel and Dieter Schmidtmann, three experienced pilots were represented, to drive the Cayman 981 on the 4.2 kilometer long race track. It was also the first real test for the mechanics crew with the new vehicle. The test provided important insights, to start well prepared in the new motorsport season.

Finally, we would like to introduce our sponsors who support us in the 2018 season. The multi-functional manufacturer GTronix360°, whose colors already adorned the Renault R.S 01 last year, supports us again in 2018. The newly founded company MieteMich.info rents vehicles for passenger and freight transport. The fleet includes 25 modern vehicles, from German premium brands. At the 24h-race, MieteMich.info provides us shuttle buses for team and guests.Last, but not least is the logo of Japanese company Sunrise Blvd. represented on the Porsche Cayman. Sunrise Blvd. has made a name for itself in Japan's capital Tokyo in the area of car tuning. Also the logos of Sunrise Blvd. partner companies Recaro Japan, Fuchs Japan and IPD Plenum are represented on the Porsche.

Shortly follows a small video of the test drives.
