You probably will not immediately recognize "Chappie" because for his last race, the fast Frenchman will perform in an unfamiliar livery. Team manager Danny Kubasik about the backgrounds: "The Renault R.S. 01 GT3 has brought us extremely advanced as a team, as we had to develop a lot ourselves and were on us. But somewhere in the long run time and costs have to be kept within limits. We could not have done that with our possibilities. Unfortunately, we could not acquire a new sponsor and we did not receive any financial support from Renault, so we will sell the vehicle". How it continues is currently not fixed, but first talks for the 2019 season already running. We will do our utmost to use a top-class vehicle on the Nordschleife again next year. In the other VLN races, we will compete in our class V5 with our Porsche Cayman 981. At this weekend Georg Griesemann, Niklas Oehme and the Englishman Andy Wolfe will share the cockpit.
