VLN6: Once again & Renault R.S.01 Support
After the past race weekend was so successful, our Japanese friends have decided to start again in the VLN together with the GTronix360 team mcchip-dkr.
As this is a 4-hour race distance and not a 6-hour race, we decided to name the squad on 2 cars. The goal remains the achievement of the mandatory laps for the Nordschleife Permit-A. In order to minimize the risk and to minimize travel expenses, we have again rented a BMW 325i for class V4. This ensures that enough laps can be made to fill the permit lap account.
Of course, the spearhead remains our # 470 GTronix360-Cayman in class V5, which all riders have been able to collect experiences with.
Matsuda Tsugio, Takaboshi Mitsunori and Fujii Tomonobu may again rely on the support of a veteran. To equalize the driver changes Edgar Salewsky will join the BMW team.
But that's not all: our French customer team "R-ace GP" will start for the first time in the VLN. Their Renault R.S.01 with start number # 51 is completely equipped with the VLN kit developed by mcchip-dkr including the 4x suspension from KW. For additional support a race engineer and a mechanic from our GTronix360 team mcchip-dkr will closely accompany the first race.
