The mcchip-dkr team is tackling the 2025 motorsport season with an ambitious and varied program! For the first time since 2018, the Mechernich team will compete in the legendary 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with a GT3 car. The team also remains loyal to the Nürburgring endurance series. There are also other interesting popular sports series on the agenda, such as the BMW 318ti Cup and the Youngtimer Trophy.
Highlight in the 2025 season will be the participation with the Renazzo Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in the SP9 AM class of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. The driver trio Christoph Breuer, Kiki Sak Nana and Dieter Schmidtmann have already been confirmed for the NLS. Another driver for the 24-hour race has yet to be announced - we can also be curious to see who will support the team in this long-distance classic in the Green Hell!
Once again compete Team mcchip-dkr in the entire NLS season and the Nürburgring 24-hour race with the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS. With Markus Nölken, who will take part in all races, and Otto Klohs, who will share the cockpit with Nölken in seven races, the team is relying on drivers who have the potential to be at the forefront of the highly competitive Cup 3 AM classification. Of course, Nölken would like to defend the title as reigning gentlemen champion in the PETN rankings this season!
TSS Thailand Series guest start with Audi R8 GT3 EVO2
Another highlight of the season is the guest start of Dieter Schmidtmann and Kiki Sak Nana in the TSS Thailand Series. They will take part in the spectacular Bangsaen Street Circuit with an Audi R8 GT3 EVO2!
BMW 318ti Cup - touring car racing at its finest
The team will compete with Markus and Daniel Nölken for almost the entire season in the BMW 318ti Cup. From the middle of the season, Daniel Nölken's 15-year-old son will enter touring car racing and drive the Rheosol BMW. The young up-and-coming driver has already attracted attention in the German Kart Championship and is looking forward to the next step in the world of motorsport.
Porsche 964 CUP - Youngtimer Trophy title defense in the class
For Markus Nölken, the Porsche 964 CUP of the Youngtimer Trophy is also continuing. After a successful 2024 season, he has set himself the goal of defending the title in the Porsche 964 Cup class. At selected races, Nölken will receive support from T.D. Hetzer, as he did in the 2024 season.
