Team mcchip-dkr ready for the 24h race Nürburgring 2022

The countdown to the 50th ADAC TotalEnergies 24h race Nürburgring 2022 is on. From May 26th to 29th 2022, the Green Hell will once again become a motorsport stronghold. With the anniversary edition, fans and spectators can finally experience the legendary long-distance race up close again after two years.
The team mcchip-dkr is entering a BMW M240i Racing with starting number 243 in the BMW M240i Cup class. The driver trio Lucas Lange, Sascha Lott and Alex Meixner contested the season highlight for the team mcchip-dkr last year with a BMW E90 325i in the V4 class. With this year’s more powerful BMW M240i Racing are they also active in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Sascha Hancke completes the driver line-up for the 24-hour race. The experienced driver has already completed more than ten 24-hour races knows the peculiarities of the Nordschleife very well.
In the last weeks, the BMW M240i Racing has been completely revised in order to be well prepared for the tough conditions of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. If the Eifel weather plays along, nothing should stand in the way of an exciting race in the Green Hell.
In addition, the team from Mechernich uses another BMW M240i Racing in the supporting program of the 24-hour race. In the Circuit Challenge Nürburgring, motorsport newcomer Markus tackles the “Feste Nürburg” event with starting number 512. The RCN run extends over 15 laps on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife and, as usual, marks the start of the motorsport festival in the Eifel. The first two qualifying sessions of the 50th ADAC TotalEnergies 24h race Nürburgring will also take place on Thursday. The qualifying in the dark particular offers the drivers the chance to get used to the difficult visibility conditions! The third qualifying on Friday afternoon is the last opportunity to improve the starting position for the race twice around the clock. Saturday morning begins with a warm-up before the race start at 4:00 p.m.
