Team mcchip-dkr with Porsche 991 GT3 CUP MR SP-PRO guest start at NLS 5!

The 6-hour race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, traditionally organized by MSC Ruhr-Blitz Bochum, takes place this weekend. The Porsche 991 GT3 CUP MR SP-PRO fielded by the mcchip-dkr team with the Steffen Henssler “Schnelle Nummer” branding will provide some variety in the starting field. After many track days, the Porsche with an interesting driver line-up will finally be collecting racing kilometers again!
The driver trio Kiki Sak Nana, Christoph Breuer and Dieter Schmidtmann will pilot the 911 in the SP-PRO class. All of them are experienced drivers who have already clinched many a class win with a wide variety of vehicle concepts on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The Thai Kiki Sak Nana already competed in the 24-hour race in the mcchip-dkr team this year and is also successful in the International GT Open Series with a Mercedes-AMG GT3. A guarantor for fast lap times is Christoph Breuer, who is very familiar with the Porsche 991 GT3 CUP MR SP-PRO as Manthey development driver. Dieter Schmidtmann, who is celebrating his comeback in the Nürburgring Endurance Series after two years without racing, is particularly pleased. He is also not unfamiliar with the GT3 CUP MR models. In 2015, Dieter Schmidtmann drove a first-generation Porsche 991 GT3 CUP MR together with Christoph Breuer in the VLN.
In addition to the SP-PRO Porsche, the mcchip-dkr team is again using a BMW M240i Racing. After a 4th place in the cup class at NLS 4, the team would like to build on this achievement. The 2021 BMW M240i Cup vice champion could contribute to this. Karl-Friedrich Kolb will tackle the 5th NLS race of the season together with Markus N.
