Also this year mcchip-dkr was a part of the 24h race Nürburgring. Our regular driver Dieter Schmidtmann drove along with Marco Schelp, Andreas Ziegler and Peter Scharmach a Manthey-Racing Porsche 991 GT3 Cup MR on the longest racetrack in the world. The launch went smoothly, and the red and white 991 struggled even further forward. Until the early morning the driver quartet took second place in the SP7 class and a top 20 result would be within reach. Around 9:00 am there was a collision with a slower car, so the complete left rear wheel suspension had to be replaced. The mechanic team of Manthey-Racing shared his experience and sent the 991 after just 40 minutes repair time back on the track. Ultimately we reached the 23th place overall, in a field of 152 vehicles a remarkable result.
