The 27th edition of the legendary "Targa Tasmania" starts on the 16th of April in its first stages. The annual Tarmac rally since 1992 derives its name from the legendary Targa Florio, which celebrated its debut in 1906 in Sicily. As the first race of its kind on the Australian continent, it is at the forefront of several other rallies such as the Targa New Zealand and the North American Targa Newfoundland.
The recently six-day race covers 40 stages and a total of 2000 kilometers driven track and accommodates various vehicle classes from Classics to the top classes of modern sports cars.
The 2016 winner of the Showroom GT2 Competition, Matt Close, will also be back this year. And this with a 911 GT3RS from our partners of City Performance Center and of course with software from mcchip-dkr!
In the period around the 16th to the 21st of April we will report as much as possible about news of the Targa Tasmania.
We look forward to an exciting rally and to the best results for our cooperation!
