More Affordable Remote Unlock for Bosch MDG1 (BMW from 07/2020) + Benefits with AutoTuner One

We’re excited to announce an important update regarding Bosch MDG1 ECUs!
The Remote Unlock procedure for DDE8 / DME8 (from model year 2020) is now available — at 50% reduced cost.

What exactly has changed?

1. Until now, all BMW MDG1 units from 07/2020 had to be shipped to Finland for unlocking. This service previously cost €1,190. With the new AutoTuner software update, shipping is still required — but the Remote Unlock is now half the price.
2. An automatic OBD unlock is now integrated into the process whenever necessary.
3. Even after an official manufacturer software update, the Remote Unlock procedure remains fully functional.

Which ECUs are supported?

The following examples are affected:

• MD1CP032 (TC299)
• MD1CS001 (TC298)
• MG1CS024, MG1CS049, MG1CS201 (TC298)

These ECUs can be unlocked via Remote Unlock after a BENCH identification with the AT Tool.
