VLN3: An eventful race weekend
The past weekend was versatile. The GTronix 360° Team mcchip-dkr started with an extensive training on Friday morning in preparation for the 60th run of the "ADAC ACAS H&R-Cup".
Not only the seeded drivers prepared themselfes for the race weekend. The day before the race was also used for a couple of taxi and maiden voyages for 2 newcomers on the Ring. The veterans Georg Griesemann and Dieter Schmidtmann took the two newbies - actor Jörg Rohde and Philipp Breuer from BG-Immobilien-Verwaltungs GmbH to task. There was a wonderful mix of joy, adrenaline and fuel in the air. So Friday already offered one or the other highlight and made lasting memories.
As showed on Saturday, the actual pilots of the Caymans could draw important conclusions from the training. By a small turn of Griesemann, towards the end of the qualifying, the GTronix 360 ° Team mcchip-dkr launched only on fifth place in the V5 class, but the team of drivers Breuer, Griesemann and Schmidtmann could make up further positions during the race. An excellent driving Christoph Breuer drove the vehicle back into the top 3 of the class and gave the car to Griesemann, just under an hour before the end of the race. He was able to hold the position confidently and ended the race without further position battles.
