To improve the measurement behavior of rear engined vehicles the circulation of our Dyno got optimized. The new system directs fresh air via fixed channels directly to the air intakes of the test vehicles. Two aggregate units with an air flow of 75,000 m³/h each pump targeted fresh air into the intakes of the engine. This guarantees a more regular cooling of the vehicles, and a realistic power delivery.
Further benefits result from the design of the new system: Instead of the previously used additional fans, which had to be mounted on the rear of the vehicles, an air duct can now be positioned directly over the air intake at the rear.
