VOX TV report about mcchip-dkr ECO optimization for cars
Our ECO optimizations to reduce fuel consumption are not only available for trucks, construction machinery and agricultural vehicles. We also offer software optimizations for many car brands and models that reduce fuel consumption and offer increased engine performance. Above all, the increase in torque plays an important role in ECO optimization. This adjustment enables an earlier upshift to the next gear and thus avoids high revs. Other factors that are changed to reduce consumption are the optimization of air masses and combustion. Depending on the engine type, fuel savings of up to 10% are possible in passenger cars.
A team from the German VOX car magazine "auto mobil" recently visited us and made a TV report on this subject, which was broadcast last Sunday. Moderator Lance David Arnold tested with a BMW 325d E91 how the fuel consumption behaves before and after our ECO software optimization. The diesel consumption fell from 7.1 l/100 km to 6.5 l/100 km and that with an additional power of 48 hp and 97 Nm of torque. These are particularly noticeable when the vehicle accelerates. After the software optimization, the BMW 325d sprinted 2 seconds faster from 60 to 140 km/h.
