The ravages of time have left their mark also on this Corvette C2 convertible, built in 1966. Our Classic department took care of it and helped to revitalize the Corvette with an elaborate frame-off restoration.
A short update on the work steps of the past weeks: In addition to the wiring harness, lighting, tank, fuel lines and many small parts, the first body parts were also assembled.
Much happened on the Corvette C2 since the last news. Nearly every work on the chassis is finished. Cable harness, break lines and fuel lines completely renewed. The Tank is mounted and the leaf spring and dampers are ready to work.
New parts for the Porsche 964 Turbo project arrived. In addition to rare 18'' Speedline rims and an original Porsche Classic steering wheel, the Porsche Classic Radio navigation system is waiting for the installation.
This Chevrolet Corvette C2, built in 1966, spend the last 15 years unaffected in a garage. Now the C2 convertible is brought back to life and receives a complex complete restoration.
