Restauration Chevrolet Corvette C2 Sting Ray Part 4
Written on . Published on .
The ravages of time have left their mark also on this Corvette C2 convertible, built in 1966. Our Classic department took care of it and helped to revitalize the Corvette with an elaborate frame-off restoration. Hardly any component of the US classic car remained untouched. From the powder coating of the chassis, to new suspenison parts, until a new 7 liter 427 V8 engine. After a two-year restoration, the Corvette C2 Sting Ray now shines in new splendor. In the last step an appraisal was made to obtain the German oldtimer number plate. Thus, the C2 is now a "motor vehicle cultural heritage". You can find a complete overview of the restoration and a photo gallery on our project page.
