For the racing season 2019 the GTronix360 team mcchip-dkr says goodbye to the French crowd favorite "Chappie".
With the Renault R.S. 01 GT3 the team has shown what they can do. From a car that was never used by anyone on the Nordschleife until 2017, the flat racer was developed into a podium contender in 2018.
This successful story should be continued now with an exotic car again. Team boss Danny Kubasik expects competitive motorsport with a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO. The well-known team Kubasik (Dieter Schmidtmann) / Hammel will drive the Italian. Probably the Lamborghini will be used only after the 24h race in 2019, because Kubasik is involved in another GT3 project. Only then is the comeback of the driver duo possible.
Currently the team is thinking about using the vehicle maybe earlier for drivers with a corresponding budget until the 24hrs-race. In addition there are ongoing dialogues with drivers and with interested sponsors. The revision has already begun. The current GT3 EVO package Spec 2019 by Lamborghini will be installed to be on the latest level of technical advancements. Initial tests will take place before the start of the season.
