VLN6: Strong team performance is rewarded with 2nd place
In qualifying, the GTronix360 Cayman with starting number #470 took a respectable 4th place in V5 class. A good starting point for the four-hour race. Fast lap times on the track, a good tactic coupled with successful pit stops provided for constant position improvements. In the end, the Porsche Cayman with the Japanese driver crew fortunately saw the checkered flag in 2nd place in the class V5 with a fastest lap time of 9: 31.736 minutes.
The BMW 325i with the number #720 started the race from 16th position in Class V4 and was unfortunately only able to move one position forward during the race. Nevertheless, an accident-free finish in a long-distance race on the world's toughest circuit should not be underestimated.
The aim of the Japanese drivers to reach the Nordschleife Permit-A as fast as possible could be realized by the GTronix360 Team mcchip-dkr. After the drivers Matsuda Tsugio, Takaboshi Mitsunori and Fujii Tomonobu already fulfilled the requirement of a placement within 75% of the class at VLN5, they repeated this at VLN6. The required number of laps, was reached also completly. We wish the drivers every success for their project in 2019.
In less than three weeks, the next VLN race is already scheduled. The GTronix360 Cayman will racing again in the V5 class. There are still driver's seats available. https://www.motorsportmarkt.de/detail/index/sArticle/17090
