The start of the third last VLN race of the 2018 season was taken over by the young Bonner Ben Bünnagel. He completed its p Porsche Cayman premiere flawlessly and handed over after his turn to his father Markus Diederich. His stint was also smoothly, so that Georg Griesemann could play his whole routine in the second half of the race and started chasing on the front rankings. After a successful last pit stop, Ben Bürnagel took over the final loop and was able to approach the fourth-placed Sorg Rennsport Cayman up to 10 seconds. Team Mananger Danny Kubasik was pleased with the fifth place in the class: "Ben and Markus did a good job in their first race on the Cayman. The car has not gotten a single scratch, which is not self-evident in the heavily contested class V5." Already in two weeks VLN 8 is on the program.
